Seeking an experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer to manage AWS, Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes platforms using Terraform and Ansible automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking, operating system administration, and cloud infrastructure management. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining automated infrastructure solutions to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency across our platforms.
Required skills/Level of Experience:
1. Experience managing and automating AWS, Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes platforms using Terraform and Ansible. (3 years)
2. Experience administering networks, operating systems, and cloud infrastructure (AWS). (3 years)
3. Experience using scripting and automation languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. (3 years)
4. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management tools. (3 years)
5. Knowledge of cloud-native technologies and container orchestration platforms. (2 years)
6. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
7. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
8. Ability to design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
9. Experience hardening cloud infrastructure including AWS services, operating systems, and networks according to federal security standards.
10. Experience with Scrum methodology and Agile practices.
11. Possession or ability to obtain and maintain the required a favorably adjudicated DHS Public Trust background investigation.
Preferred Skills/Level of Experience:
1. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
2. Certification in relevant technologies and platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, etc.).
3. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., ELK stack, AWS CloudWatch).
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
