Computer World Services Corporation (CWS) is seeking an exceptional candidate to serve as IT Program Manager. Candidate will perform day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, possibly involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations. Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all contract support activities. Works closely with customers to define communication system and equipment requirements. Provides instruction and direction to, and certification over the work of staff through structured quality reviews.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Provides technical/management leadership for all PWS requirements.

• Establishes goals and plans that meet project requirements

• Has domain and expert technical knowledge

• Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met

• Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management

• Decision-making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation

• Plans, initiates, and manages IT projects. Leads and guides the work of technical staff

• Serves as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects

• Plans project stages and assesses business implications for each stage

• Monitors progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met

• May supervise others

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, IT, or business related programs.

• Minimum of ten (10) years of work experience in managing IT programs

• Working knowledge and experience managing technology, software, and IT infrastructure programs

• Understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, , GCP, Oracle) and hybrid cloud environments

Certifications

• Candidate must possess an Agile project management certification including any of the following:

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Security Clearance

• Top Secret

Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)

• Travel - Minimal
