Position Type/Details:  Internship positions can be full-time or part-time based upon preference and availability.


Responsibilities:



  • Creates an excellent client experience.

  • Performs duties as needed in projects and as assigned by supervisors.

  • Accepts responsibility for accuracy of data entry, accumulation, and maintenance in all aspects of what we do as an accounting and consulting firm.

  • Learns through their Performance Advisor the elements of project management, including delegation and the ability to properly manage workload.

  • Specific duties include performing timely testing procedures on documentation of expenses provided by CDBG fund recipients, effectively managing a testing pipeline and offering solutions to accelerate testing and review processes, collaborating with the team to recommend funding request ideas, and utilizing technology for required data entry into the system of record.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:



  • Junior, Senior, or Graduate student actively pursuing a degree in Business Administration

  • Proficiency with computer and spreadsheet software programs, or software appropriate to practice area

  • General knowledge of government and public policy
