Children's Clinics is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist.

As a member of the Rehabilitative Therapies Services team, the OT will join a strong transdisciplinary team serving a diverse patient population consisting primarily of children with complex medical needs, including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, downs syndrome, neuromuscular disorders, autism spectrum disorder, neurogenic sensory impairment and pediatric orthopedic conditions resulting in decreased functional mobility. The OT participates in multi-disciplinary patient care planning and staff/parent education and may participate in wheelchair evaluations and modifications, adaptive equipment evaluations and fittings, upper extremity and cerebral palsy clinics to provide or review patients splints, increasing functional joint mobility, ROM and strength, Autism Center of Excellence multidisciplinary clinics to address fine and motor and sensory needs.
Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in AZ, have graduated from an accredited Masters degree program and have a current BLS certification. Two years experience with pediatric population with very complex medical needs preferred. New Grads with full-time clinical rotation(s) in pediatrics may be considered. Knowledge in evaluating and fitting patients for DMEs, Adaptive Equipment, Sensory Integration therapy, Upper Extremity Splinting/Casting, Feeding therapy and bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing comprehensive occupational therapy assessment, treatment, and coordination to eligible patients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from accredited college/university required
Experience:
Two years related pediatric experience preferred
Licenses and Certificates:
Occupational Therapy (OT) license from the Arizona Board of OT Examiners required
AHCCCS Provider Identification Number required, may be obtained upon hire
BLS certification required

FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE
Employees are required to maintain a current Department of Public Safety Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card. Proof of a current fingerprint clearance card must be received within 90 days of employment.
