Overview

Title: Concrete Quality Control Technician
Location: Midland, TX
Reports To: QC Manager
Compensation: $22.00-$25.00 HR / DOE

Troy Vines, a Summit Materials llc company, is seeking a Quality Control Technician. Withing this role, you will be ensuring that manufactured product meets a set of predetermined quality standards. This includes sampling concrete and aggregates for quality assurance. Monitoring 3rd party testing, as well as investigating customer complaints to improve product production.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Materials testing experience preferred
• Sampling and testing of concrete and aggregates per ASTM standards.
• Casting of beams and cylinders.
• Testing of cylinders and beams.
• Data entry of all test results.
• Personal integrity is absolute.

Skills & Qualifications:

• ACI Level 1 Field Technician Certification or the ability to attain, would be a PLUS
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of concrete quality control procedures.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Capable of working a variety of hours ranging from mornings, evenings and overnight.
• Placing / finishing concrete experience (preferred).
