Basic Purpose
Works with a wide range of engineering and field functional groups within NV Energy to lead the creation and maintenance efforts of complex and highly technical material, installation, and construction standards and specifications. Works closely with various stakeholders to develop and contribute technical expertise in the design and construction activities.
The functional area of expertise as a subject matter expert will be assigned - transmission line, substation, distribution, or apparatus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develops and maintains material, installation, and construction standards and specifications.
Establishes and maintains a good working relationship with internal customers, vendors, and suppliers.
Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes, and regulations applicable to position and company.
Performs related duties as assigned.

General office environment. No special physical demands required. Limited travel will be required. Engineers assigned to apparatus will require more significant travel.
Annual Salary: $111,500 (Min) to $131,200 (Mid); Up to 15% Short Term Incentive Plan target opportunity at the discretion of the company. This is a non-represented position.

Depending on qualifications of applicants, this position may be filled at a lower level than that which is posted such as Senior Engineer - Standards, Engineer II - Standards or Engineer I - Standards.
