We are currently seeking a compassionate and dynamic Activities Attendant with knowledge and experience in Alzheimer’s and Dementia care, to join our team and help provide memorable experiences for our residents.

Job Description:
As an Activities Attendant, you will play a key role in the daily engagement and enjoyment of our residents. You will assist with organizing, setting up, and facilitating a wide variety of recreational activities that cater to the interests and needs of our senior population. You will work closely with the Life Enrichment Director to ensure that all events are executed smoothly and provide a positive, enriching experience for everyone involved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing daily recreational activities such as arts and crafts, fitness classes, games, musical performances, and outings.


• Set up and prepare spaces for activities, ensuring all materials and supplies are available.


• Provide friendly and courteous assistance to residents during activities, ensuring their comfort and participation.


• Assist with transportation and mobility needs for residents participating in activities as well as providing room visits.


• Foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages socialization and connection among residents.


• Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity preferences.


• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during activities.


• Assist with the Adult Day Program.


• Other duties as assigned by the Life Enrichment Director.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.


• Some College preferred.


• Previous experience in a senior living community or recreational setting preferred.


• Passion for working with older adults and enhancing their quality of life.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage residents in a positive and compassionate manner.


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.


• Flexible, reliable, and detail-oriented.
