The Senior Accountant is responsible for delivering trusted, accurate and timely financial results through cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
Coordinates month-end close procedures
Prepares and posts journal entries, including underlying supporting schedules and support.
Assists with Month-End Reporting reconciliation.
Prepares required schedules for reporting of financial data.
Prepares various balance sheet reconciliations through cross-functional collaboration.
Performs detailed financial statement analysis to identify trends, variances, and anomalies.
Ensures compliance with corporate reporting timelines.
Accounting tasks
Assists with expense report review and processing via Concur.
Assists AR, AP, Payroll, T&E Operational functions to ensure proper accounting for transactions.
Monitors and ensures compliance with internal control policies and procedures.
Provides supporting information and explanations as needed.
Assists with special projects as needed.
Stays current with changes in accounting, regulations, and best practices.
Additional Tasks:
Continuously reviews processes and procedures for improvements and efficiencies.
Supports internal and external audits.
Prepares recurring and ad hoc audit schedules
Requirements
BA Accounting degree.
3-5 years of related accounting experience with a company or from public accounting.
Ability to read and comprehend accounting literature such as IFRS, GAAP, FASB’s, etc.
Proficient in MS Office Products.
Demonstrated proficiency in accounting principles and standards.
Proficient in SAP or similar ERP.
CPA Preferred
