Your Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Virtualization Engineer with extensive hands-on experience to join our global Citrix team. The ideal candidate will be a Virtualization expert with a proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining complex Citrix farms and should also have expertise in managing the VMware infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and support Citrix virtualization solutions, including Citrix Virtual Applications & Desktops, and Citrix Cloud
Manage and maintain Citrix NetScaler infrastructure, including load balancing, GSLB, authentication, and SSL offloading.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Citrix solutions with other IT systems and applications
Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of Citrix and VMware-related issues
Develop and maintain documentation for Citrix configurations, processes, and procedures
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to Citrix and VMware
Provide technical guidance to junior team members
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum of 6 years of experience in Citrix administration and engineering, preferred greater than 10 years of experience
Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing multiple Citrix XenApp (CVAD), and VMware Infrastructures
Proficiency in configuring and maintaining Citrix NetScaler ADC appliances
Strong understanding of virtualization and networking concepts
Solid experience with Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications:
Worked in a highly regulated environment
Automation Skills using PowerShell
Professional certifications such as CCP-V, or CCE-V, VCP are highly desirable
