Job Summary
We are excited to invite a Security Operations Manager to lead our dynamic Information Security team in Dallas, TX. In this vital role, you will be at the forefront of protecting our organization from information and cyber threats. Your leadership will be instrumental in implementing robust security measures, managing incident responses, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.


What you’ll do:




  • Empower Your Team: Lead, mentor, and develop a talented group of information security professionals, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.


  • Champion Security Policies: Ensure our information security policies are effectively implemented and adhered to, safeguarding our organization’s assets.


  • Lead Incident Response: Take charge of our response to information security incidents, guiding the team through detection, containment, eradication, and recovery.


  • Monitor Security Systems: Oversee the operation of security systems, including Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools.


  • Analyze Threats: Conduct thorough analyses of security threats and vulnerabilities, developing proactive strategies to mitigate risks.


  • Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with various teams to integrate security measures into all aspects of our operations, ensuring a holistic approach to safety.


  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Use data-driven insights to enhance our security initiatives and leadership development programs.


  • Manage Third-party Relationships: Ensure our security service vendors meet our effectiveness and service level expectations.




What you bring:




  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.


  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in information, with at least 6 years in a managerial role.


  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent certifications.


  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls), network protocols, encryption, and cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure).

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for building collaborative relationships at all levels. Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for fostering teamwork. Proficient in data analysis to measure program effectiveness and inform decision-making


Salary Range: $125,000 - $155,000
