Role reports to: Head of HR, US Customer Development & NA Commercial Operations

Location: Kenvue is currently in the process of moving its Global Headquarters from Skillman, NJ to Summit, NJ. This role is based in Summit, NJ but there may be a period of time during the transition that you must report to Skillman, NJ.

Travel: 5%

Pay: Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $119,000 to $205,850 . This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.

What You Will Do

The People Business Partner, Global Capabilities is responsible for shaping and delivering the People function agenda within their client group and actively supporting their business partners. He/she will do this through coaching, talent management, strategic thought partnership, organizational design and business collaboration as required. This role supports the Global Capabilities organization inclusive of teams dedicated to strategic portfolio management, media, category envisioning, health care professional engagement, and other capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization and collaborate closely with business leaders, functional partners and employees to understand their needs, challenges and priorities
  • Partner with leaders to design and implement the optimal organizational structure, including spans of control and layers within the organization to clarify ways of working, roles and responsibilities and drive optimal impact
  • Identifying critical business capability needs and partner with business leaders to develop and execute appropriate strategies to strengthen the organization
  • Serve as a thought partner to business leaders and proactively identify opportunities to enhance organizational effectiveness and drive elevated levels of performance
  • Actively participate in the development of the organization's strategic talent plan by analyzing workforce trends, identifying talent gaps and forecasting future talent needs
  • Deploy strategies and approaches to attract, develop and retain top talent inclusive of methods to buy, build or borrow the skills and competencies needed to achieve the organization's growth objectives
  • Facilitate the development of a strong Kenvue culture delivering employee engagement and retention - drive initiatives that foster a strong organizational culture that aligns with the company's values and promotes collaboration, innovation and employee well-being
  • Manage organizational change by communicating effectively with employees, providing support during transitions and helping to mitigate resistance to change
  • Leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions about talent management initiatives
  • Support the organization's diversity, equity and inclusion agenda by executing initiatives that span across strengthening leadership commitment, elevating hiring practices and driving community engagement

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 8 years professional experience required; minimum of 2 years of HR or HR related experience preferred
  • Experience driving strategic change to meet changing business needs and exploring new business models
  • Must have relationship management, coaching and collaboration skills
  • Influence, shaping solutions, negotiation and partnership skills
  • Experience using data to influence senior business leaders
  • Must embody strong interpersonal, consultative and facilitation skills
  • Ability to understand and integrate internal and external business drivers and financial metrics to drive talent outcomes for the business
  • Experience with innovative change efforts, including developing and implementing detailed change management plans
  • Must be an enthusiastic teammate with a proven commitment to build a positive work environment
  • Must be comfortable navigating ambiguity
  • Experience managing, planning, and implementing projects and business support initiatives
  • Strong MS office and related talent management technology tools skills are required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience providing direct support to a commercial organization is preferred, specifically sales and marketing
  • Experience supporting multiple business functions and working in various industries, preferably within large, complex organizations
  • Experience supporting capability development that accelerates growth and profitability in a consumer goods organization
