Position Summary

Jeffers Crane Service, Inc. is seeking a motivated individual to act as an Accounting Associate to perform Accounts Receivable, Billing, Invoicing, and other clerical and office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with comprehensive Benefits package.

 

Essential Functions


  • Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data.

  • Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form.

  • Answer incoming telephone calls and provide excellent customer service

  • Maintain neatness and organization of work area.

  • Ensure proper billing and collection of contractual revenue

  • Ensure accurate tracking, monitoring and recording of all charges, records and other entries

  • Scan and maintain records.

  • Transmit information or documents to colleagues or customers, using computer, mail, or facsimile machine.

  • Enter approved vouchers to be paid. 

  • Various administrative tasks and office support activities such as processing documents, filing and data entry

  • Ensure accurate tracking, monitoring and recording of all charges, records and other entries

  • Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations

  • Help assist contract administrator when needed

  • Other duties as assigned



Skills and Experience Requirements


  • Must have solid general office skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

  • Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and operate office equipment and technology

  • TRACK software experience a plus
