The HRIS specialist primary focus of this position is to support payroll and the maintenance of the human resource management system (HRMS) Ceridian Dayforce. This position serves as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
HR/Payroll: Support the HR/payroll function. Update HCM system as needed with employee maintenance, and other changes. Maintain the system to keep the integrity of system accurate.
System Maintenance: Review, test and implementation of HRMS upgrades or patches. Maintain HCM tables. Present new features & changes to HR department.
Production Support: Provide support for HCM, including researching and resolving HCM problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
Reports/Queries: Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing needs.
Individual Development: Maintain awareness of current trends in the Ceridian Dayforce HCM with a focus on product and service development, continuously increase both HR knowledge and HCM application/tools knowledge.
HR Paperwork: Processing new hire paperwork and employee changes electronically.

Well organized person with strong administrative and good interpersonal skills. A person who is very dependable, and who can work independently.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience
Three to five years of HRIS experience.
Preferred:
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)
Ceridian Dayforce working experience
Systems implementation experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The ability to complete work quickly and properly.
Must have good technology, interpersonal, and organizational skills
