The Strategy & Planning Manager (Americas) will lead the development and execution of the AMER Infra Sols strategy, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and objectives. This role involves taking ownership of strategic initiatives, driving them from conception to completion with minimal supervision. The manager will collaborate closely with the Strategy Director and AMER leader to prepare QBRs, MBRs, and other strategic reports. Additionally, the role requires coordinating with cross-functional teams across different time zones, leading strategic meetings, providing expert support and research, and maintaining a strong focus on both short-term results and long-term vision. The manager will also act as a liaison between the AMER region and global strategy team, ensuring alignment and consistency in strategic initiatives.
This position will be based onsite at our Pelzer, SC location.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of the AMER Infra Sols strategy, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and objectives
Take ownership of strategic initiatives, driving them from conception to completion with minimal supervision
Collaborate closely with the Strategy Director and AMER leader to prepare QBRs, MBRs, and other strategic reports
Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives, ensuring timely execution and delivery2.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams across different time zones to gather and analyze data, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
Lead strategic meetings and discussions with various local departments, focusing on problem-solving and continuous improvement
Provide expert support and research into complex problems and processes, offering innovative solutions
Maintain a strong focus on both short-term results and long-term vision, driving continuous improvement and best practice sharing
Ensure the smooth operation of the company by effectively supporting management standards, operating models, and facilitating communication across various teams
Align and coordinate strategy tasks and action points, ensuring clarity and accountability
Present findings and recommendations to leadership, demonstrating a deep understanding of the AMER market and strategic priorities
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, best practice sharing, and process standardization
Act as a liaison between the AMER region and global strategy team, ensuring alignment and consistency in strategic initiatives
Monitor and report on the progress of strategic initiatives, ensuring timely completion and addressing any issues that arise
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration or Engineering; MBA degree in Business or a related discipline.
Certifications such as PMP are a plus.
10+ years of experience.
Experience in an international and culturally diverse organization is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; other languages are a plus.
The ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and solve complex problems.
Good attention to detail.
Advanced experience with ERP financial applications (Oracle preferred).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (experience in Power BI preferred).
Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
Strong, proven business partnering mentality; has the maturity and awareness to strike the right balance between facilitating and challenging the business.
