Be part of the biggest little airline where every passenger, every day, and every flight matters – and so do you! Southern Airways / Mokulele Airlines is seeking a skilled, certificated Level II NDI Inspector to assist us in maintaining our fleet aircraft. Under the direction of the Director of Maintenance the incumbent will perform maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and modifications on company aircraft(s).
Team players are encouraged to apply and join us in providing our customers with an enjoyable flying experience!The ideal candidate:has experience working on PT6A and/or C-208Bhas excellent written and verbal communication skillshas the ability to read, write and speak English effectivelyis professional in appearance and manneris courteous in all interactionsis a team playeris detail-oriented General Duties include:performing maintenance and inspections in accordance with the applicable FARs, manufacturer’s recommendations, TCDS, ICAs and company policiestroubleshooting systems and components, airframe and power plantproperly completing log entries for work accomplishedmaintaining the work area in a clean and professional mannerperforming aircraft run and taxi as required for system test and performanceexhibiting knowledge of and working in accordance with the GOM, GMM and AAIP Requirements for the position:Current A&P certificate, IA is a plusLevel 2 NDI Certificates (Eddy current / Dye Pen) with training records to verify exp.A minimum of 3 years of experienceOwnership/possession of basic tools to complete the job tasksHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver’s license and reliable transportationBasic computer skillsAbility to read, understand and follow maintenance manuals, drawings and wiring printsAbility to work within a 24/7 operation including holidaysAbility to pass 10-year background check and pre-employment drug screenAt least 18 years of ageAuthorized to work in the U.S. per the Immigration Act of 1986Ability to maintain SIDA accessAble to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidaysAble to document on-the-job training and successfully complete training as required by company Physical Requirements:Able to bend, squat, kneel and stand for extended periods of timeAble to lift 40 pounds.Able to work in adverse weather conditionsMust be able to meet all physical requirements related to aircraft weight limitations before and during employment. Additional Information:Some housing and relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
