Job Summary: The Wastewater & Maintenance Inventory Technician will be responsible for managing the wastewater treatment processes and maintaining the inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. This role ensures compliance with environmental regulations and supports the maintenance team by ensuring that all necessary parts and supplies are available. The ideal candidate will have experience in wastewater management and inventory control within a manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment systems to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.


• Monitor and record wastewater treatment processes, including flow rates, chemical usage, and discharge quality.


• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of wastewater treatment equipment.


• Manage the inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, including ordering, receiving, and stocking parts.


• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, usage, and reordering needs.


• Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure timely availability of parts and supplies for repairs and preventive maintenance.


• Conduct regular audits of inventory to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.


• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations related to wastewater treatment and inventory management.


• Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures for wastewater treatment and inventory control.


• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of wastewater treatment and inventory management processes.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in wastewater management and inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.


• Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and environmental regulations.


• Strong organizational and inventory management skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.


• Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.


• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
