Responsibilities:
Perform fabrication processes for solar cells, including photolithography, thinning, lift-off, evaporation, and electrical testing.
Operate MOCVD vacuum systems and handle materials for semiconductor growth.
Assemble and inspect solar cell components, ensuring precise workmanship and adherence to specifications.
Conduct hand soldering, wire harness assembly, and component bonding.
Accurately complete documentation and maintain work records.
Utilize tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, and soldering irons to assemble components.
Adhere to safety regulations and company procedures.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, or relevant military/work experience.
Experience: Minimum of 6 months in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
Demonstrated experience in inspection under a microscope.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and perform tasks for extended periods.
Clearance Requirements: None specified.
Physical Requirements: Must wear protective gear (smock, hair cover, gloves) and have excellent visual acuity.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP.
Previous experience in welding and soldering.
Familiarity with assembling small parts.
