By utilizing broad engineering expertise along with sophisticated 5-axis CNC machining and special processing, we have the ability to deliver solutions that are responsive to customer needs.

Compensation for this role: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Shift: 1st - Monday through Friday 7:00am to 1:30pm

Summary:

Performs housekeeping/janitorial duties to maintain a clean and orderly facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:


  • Maintains lobby and entrance areas, including windows, glass doors, and tabletops.
  • Vacuums dust that accumulates throughout the facility.
  • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs, offices, bathrooms, breakrooms, and other areas as instructed.
  • Collects and disposes of trash.
  • Cleans breakrooms, kitchen areas, and bathrooms throughout facility, and restocks supplies as necessary.
  • Wipes down or vacuums machinery and equipment.
  • Cleans and vacuums dust that accumulates on light fixtures and in high areas.
  • Sweeps outside immediate entranceways as needed.
  • Notifies supervisor of damage or repair throughout the facility.
  • Maintains the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, bathroom supplies and notifies supervisor for replenishment.
  • Works in a safe manner following all departmental and plant safety rules. Reports any unsafe work conditions to Safety Manager, supervisor, or management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Required:


  • High school diploma or GED; housekeeping/janitorial experience.
  • Must have English reading, writing and verbal communication skills sufficient to read, write, and understand and communicate the company operating procedures and policies, safety manuals and general work order instructions.
  • Capability to understand routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and verbal instructions.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; stoop; bend; balance; kneel; climb; crouch; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands, and arms and talk or hear.
  • The employee must lift and/or move up to 25 pounds on occasion.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
