We are actively searching for TEMPEST Engineer, located in Maryland, to support our team. We have varying levels of this position, depending on years of experience and education.
Essential Job DutiesAs part of our team, you"ll get to work on a team of TEMPEST engineers and SMEs helping perform TEMPEST testing and provide TEMPEST engineering recommendations to help ensure the security of our nation"s systemsYou"ll learn from our existing TEMPEST subject matter experts to grow your knowledge and skills, as well as share your TEMPEST expertise with others. You"ll get to work onsite with the customer, integrated into their team to ensure mission success.Set up Equipment under test (EUT) enclosure in accordance with Govt specsProperly execute TEMPEST test methods and signal analysisRecord all test results and concernsIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve Emanation Security ( EMSEC ) vulnerabilitiesWork with TEMPEST vendorsPerform Test set up ambient measurementsCapture and Analyze qualification test data and results and writing reportsWork with project teams to evaluate products with respect to NSITSSAMVerify TESTEST test requirements by the CTTAAttend TEM with crypto device user / customer, CSCM and vendorProvide testing of certified cryptographic equipment to discover vulnerabilities in secure systemsPerform TEMPEST testing of COTS equipment to discover the extent of vulnerabilities for countermeasure purposesValidate IASRD is applied consistently throughout the ICRequired Qualifications3+ years of experience with TEMPEST testing, design, or engineeringTEMPEST certified technician (Certified TEMPEST Professional Level II)
Salary Range: $165,000.00 - $195,000.00
