We are looking for a highly experienced Toolmaker/Tooling Specialist to join our team and help us fabricate and maintain our tools and die. This position requires an individual with strong technical knowledge in the areas of Tool & Die Design, Tool Crib, Stamping, Tool Room, CNC, Machine Shop, Machining, Medical Device, Fineblanking, Fineblank, Stamped, and Press. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our products are created according to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design and fabricate tools and dies to meet customer specifications.
Develop and maintain tooling schedules.
Execute maintenance and repairs of tools and dies.
Monitor tool and die performance and make adjustments as necessary.
Use CNC machinery to create complex designs.
Monitor tool room inventory and order new supplies as needed.
Document all activities related to tools and die.
Qualifications
5+ years of proven experience as a Toolmaker or Tooling Specialist.
Extensive knowledge of Tool & Die Design, Tool Crib, Stamping, Tool Room, CNC, Machine Shop, Machining, Medical Device, Fineblanking, Fineblank, and Stamped preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret engineering documents.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
