The Securitas TechnologyOperations Supervisor plans work and supervises a team of prefabrication technicians within a light manufacturing environment. The prefabrication team assembles electrical and electronic components and materials into prefabricated assemblies for ease of installation by technicians in client facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide supervision, motivation, and training to electronic prefabrication technicians in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
Develop operations plans and resource planning to optimize work and meet production deadlines.
Maintain tool and inventory levels by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing orders for supplies.
Implement departmental policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
Implement and maintain quality control standards and procedures.
Coordinate with engineers and project managers on project deliverables.
Evaluate performance of assigned employees, delivering appropriate and timely feedback.
Evaluate and report on department metrics.
Develop and implement strategies to improve the work environment and operations.
Maintain storage and organization of raw materials and finished goods in the warehouse.
Required Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
A bachelor's or associate degree in operations management, business management, or engineering technology
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or electronics assembly environment
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
Experience wiring and troubleshooting industrial controls and PLC equipment.
Good working knowledge of operational procedures and policies.
Strong project management, administrative management, and organizational skills.
Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
Great communication and interpersonal skills.
