Job Description:

Summary: This position is responsible for the direct communication between the general public, county agencies and staff.


Responsibilities:

  • Answers incoming calls, determines needs and directs to appropriate resource.
  • Has working knowledge of county/township agencies as potential sources of information.
  • Provides clerical support for Administrator and Director of Public Works.
  • Handles park reservations
  • Schedules field assignments

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate (or equivalent)
  • Well organized and detailed oriented
  • Prior knowledge of township government
  • Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work well independently and on a team


Hours and compensation:

  • 8am – 4:30pm, Monday through Friday
  • DOQ

Additional information

  • Two or more professional references must be provided.
  • This position will require a criminal background check before hiring.
