Pharmacy In East Rochester, NY Seeks a Travel Pharmacy Technician/ADS for Southern Tier of NY and PA.
Willing to drive long distances in the state of Southern NY and PARegion includes western and central New York with approx. 800 miles per week

TravelPharmacy Technician/ADSRequirements
Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisorMaintain active communication with client facility and pharmacy staff, primarily through emailUtilize various applications (myQlink, OmniCenter) to obtain reportsMaintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System) (quantity and expiration date)Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billingReplace potentially expiring inventoryRestock depleted inventoryPull and pack medications for daily routesCode controlled substances, when applicableMonthly audits (cycle count)Prepares standard documentation and reports to include discrepancies, expense reports, and others as directedComplete any other task assigned by the supervisor
TravelPharmacy Technician/ADS Qualifications
NY Pharmacy Technician experience, required.High School diploma or equivalentPrevious pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred)Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferredGood organizational skills and detail orientedMust have a valid driver's license and your own vehicleAvailability and flexibility to work after hours when needed during peak timesAbility to physically perform light liftingWilling to drive long distances in the state of Southern NY and PA.
