The Opportunity



As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic with Tradebe you will do a variety of maintenance work on the mobile equipment at the plant. That will include forklifts, backhoes, trackhoes, etc. The preferred candidate will have experience doing maintenance on diesel equipment.



Key job responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on all plant mobile equipment


• Maintain an inventory of spare parts for mobile equipment


• Adhere to the maintenance budget


• Repair all equipment in a timely manner


• Ensure preventive maintenance program is in compliance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of mobile equipment


• Must have own tools


• Five to seven (5 to 7) years working in an industrial environment


• Five to seven (5 to 7) years working on and operating mobile equipment, back hoe, track hoe, fork trucks


• Experience working on semi-trucks is a plus


• Valid Drivers license
