Overview: Peak Ready Mix seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Concrete Ready-Mix Dispatch Manager to oversee and coordinate the daily dispatching operations of our ready-mix concrete division. The Dispatch Manager will ensure timely and efficient delivery of concrete products to job sites, maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction while optimizing fleet operations and production scheduling. The Manager will play a key role in ensuring quality service and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the day-to-day dispatch operations for the ready-mix concrete fleet. Assign deliveries to drivers based on proximity, load schedules, and customer requirements
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding delivery status, order updates, and potential delays. Provide timely and accurate information to customers to ensure satisfaction
Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues related to traffic, site access, or material delivery. Monitor driver performance, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and address any driver-related concerns
Manage and optimize the scheduling of the fleet of trucks and equipment. Ensure the efficient use of resources to minimize downtime, reduce costs, and meet customer demand
Work closely with production and plant management to ensure a consistent supply of materials and capacity to meet delivery demands. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any issues or shortages
Ensure all dispatch operations comply with safety regulations, company policies, and legal requirements. Monitor drivers' adherence to road safety, DOT regulations, and company standards
Address any issues related to order delays, product quality, or customer concerns in a timely and professional manner. Implement contingency plans when necessary
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, driver logs, and customer interactions. Prepare reports on dispatch activities, performance metrics, and any operational issues
Supervise, train, and mentor dispatch personnel. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment
Job Requirements
Minimum of 2 to 5 years in a dispatch or operations management role; preferably in the ready-mix concrete or construction materials industry.
Proficient in dispatch management software and basic office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace). Experience with concrete-specific software platforms (Command/Track It/BCMI/Samsara)
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Proficient in scheduling, logistics, and resource management
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple deliveries simultaneously
Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Familiarity with concrete production, delivery, and logistics processes
Understanding of DOT regulations, safety protocols, and compliance requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in operations management, logistics, or a related field is preferred
Valid driver's license is required; CDL preferred but not mandatory
