Title: Security Programs CoordinatorPosition Summary: The Security Programs Coordinator provides administrative support and coordination for our security compliance, vulnerability management, and audit response programs. This entry-level position focuses on maintaining security systems, tracking deliverables, and ensuring workflow completion across multiple teams.Primary Responsibilities:System Administration:Maintain and monitor security platforms including Vonhai penetration testing and Nodeware vulnerability scanning systemsEnsure systems are properly configured and up to dateGenerate regular reports and maintain documentationTrack license usage and renewalsCoordinate with vendors for technical support needsProgram Coordination:Track and coordinate cybersecurity insurance audit responsesMaintain audit evidence collection schedules and documentationMonitor SOX/SOC2 compliance deliverablesCreate and maintain status reports for various security initiativesSchedule and coordinate necessary meetings between teamsFollow up on outstanding items and escalate delays as neededProcess Support:Assist with basic L1 security alert monitoringMaintain security documentation and process workflowsCreate and update standard operating proceduresTrack security tool usage and adoption metricsRequired Qualifications:Associate degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field1-3 years experience in IT or security fieldStrong organizational and documentation skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office suiteExcellent attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in related fieldSecurity+ certification or willingness to obtain within 6 monthsExperience with tracking systems and project management toolsFamiliarity with security concepts and terminologyExperience in a managed service provider environmentReports to: Security Operations Manager Works closely with: Security Administrators, MSOPS team, Client Account Managers.This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in cybersecurity while supporting critical security operations.
