Job Description:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage team of 3 or more freight clerks. Ensure freight invoices are reviewed for accuracy and approved in a timely manner in both Concur and TBL systems as required. Ensure all orders and transfers are shipped and delivered within the required parameters based on the order instructions, including but not limited to date, time, temperature, and special equipment. Coordinate and file complaints and claims with transportation providers, as necessary. Maintain various reports and spreadsheets to enable efficient coordinated workflow. Back up freight clerks, as necessary. Manage and track in house and dedicated transportation assets. Coordinate transportation related internal communications between various functional areas within Coim including but not limited to planning, customer service and QA. Ensure accurate regulatory documentation accompanies all shipments as required. Ensures proper storage and retention of all transportation documents. Logs and investigates internal non-conformances and customer complaints, as necessary. Prepare monthly reports, as necessary. Coordinates day-to-day activities within the TMS system and communicates with vendors, as necessary.
