THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN PLEASANT GROVE CA.


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 



  • Coordinate with shop on daily shop operations and work assignments.

  • Communicate status of all work in process with foreperson, leads, and customers.

  • Monitor work in process with shop to meet labor hours and parts estimates.

  • Work with PSSR’s on estimates and quotes ensuring all parts and labor are accurate.

  • Work with Service Manager on large repair estimates considering all available variables.

  • Must assist TC with technical issues and/or problems while assisting with any manufacturer questions and/or issues.

  • Provide technical support as required.

  • Responsible for controlling operating costs including chargeable time, policy, rework, and other shop expenses.




    • Responsible for maintaining less than fifty percent chargeable time




  • Evaluate skills level of shop trainees and work with foreperson on shop jobs to meet skill level and trainee step process.




    • Responsible for evaluating all employees

    • Must work with ThinkBig students on apprentice rotations




  • Provide back-up support to service dispatch and field technicians.

  • Work with Service Manager on:




    • Working conditions

    • Efficiency by evaluating work practices

    • Safety goals and safety incentive programs

    • Plans on how to motivate employees

    • Strategy Planning for


      • Present Information as needed at monthly meetings


    • Budgeting process




  • Interpret the following Company policies and procedures to employee:




    • Responsible to adhere to all Safety Policies & Procedures 

    • Employment Policies & Procedures

    • Warranty & Rework Policies

    • Shop Policies & Procedures




  • Responsible for Customer Satisfaction.

  • Some driving may be required.

  • Other duties as assigned.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES


Supervises employees in the Service department.  Supervisor will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include interview, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising, performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.


SKILLS



  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

  • Ability to write service reports.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

  • Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists.

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE


High school or GED; and/or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Employee will regularly work near moving mechanical parts and occasionally work in outside weather conditions and exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.

COMPENSATION


Pay Range: $75,000 -$90,000  Annually


Pay Range Dependent on Knowledge, Skills, and Ability.
