State of Maryland Employment Opportunities THOMAS B. FINAN CENTER Building Services Worker (Housekeeping) Full-time opening for a Building Services Worker (Housekeeper). Salary range is $36,093 - $48,970. Employees in this position perform a full performance level of work providing housekeeping and general services for a state psychiatric healthcare facility. Finan Center, a multi-purpose psychiatric facility operating 88 beds, is a primary inpatient component of the Maryland Department of Health servicing the citizens of Maryland. Specialized evaluation and treatment services are available for adult and geriatric psychiatric patients. The main purpose of this position is to provide a safe clean environment for patients, staff and visitors while performing all assigned housekeeping duties at the Thomas B. Finan Center. This position will provide all linen services as needed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: None. Experience: None. LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS Employees appointed to positions in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operators license valid in the State of Maryland. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Employees in this classification may be subject to call-in 24 hours a day and, therefore, may be required to provide the employing agency with a telephone number where they can be reached.
