Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to join their team. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud information flows and the architectural processes necessary for the implementation of robust cloud security solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing cloud-related security tasks, ensuring the integrity and security of cloud-based systems. This is a full-time position, and while the role is predominantly based remotely, occasional travel to the office or client sites may be required depending on project needs.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze system requirements and ensure that systems will be securely integrated with current applications.


• Implement cloud security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.


• Conduct comprehensive cloud security audits and prepare detailed reports on findings and recommendations.


• Develop and review cloud security architectures to ensure that they meet business needs and security standards.


• Prepare, maintain, and update necessary documentation including design, maintenance, and operations manuals.


• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure the secure deployment of applications in the cloud environment.


• Stay updated with emerging security threats and technologies to ensure the security of cloud services.


• Provide expert guidance and leadership to junior team members and stakeholders on matters related to cloud security.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role in cloud security management.


• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.


• Experience with cloud security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS benchmarks.


• Ability to create and manage comprehensive security architectures for cloud-based systems.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Relevant certifications in cloud security (e.g., CCSP, AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer) are preferred.


• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.


• Flexibility to travel as required for the role.
