As Cost Engineering Specialist for Large Mining Truck you will design, develops, builds, and implements new products, components, or technologies to achieve product cost targets.
Responsibilities
• Develop design parameters, performance characteristics, and technical specifications of products and components that deliver product cost targets and satisfy customer needs and advance safety, quality, velocity and cost.
• Participating in supplier selection and capabilities assessment.
• Monitoring, exploring, and testing new technologies, materials, and components to understand product or process improvement opportunities.
• Leads strategy development for product cost including operations, supply chain, and product design.
Top Candidates Will Have:
• Past design engineering or supplier management or operations or NPI experience with mining equipment
• Execution/collaboration mindset working across different teams with a common goal
Degree Requirement
• Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum

Summary Pay Range:
$126,000.00 - $189,000.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
