We're looking for a skilled AutoCAD Designer with experience in building and manufacturing design to create detailed technical drawings and models for construction, manufacturing, and product development projects. You'll collaborate with Senior Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers to deliver high-quality designs that meet industry standards and project requirements. What You Will Do
Support engineers and project managers in developing CAD models, drawings, and physical prototypes, ensuring accurate documentation and revisions.
Lead projects, ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and client specifications while making updates as needed.
Assist in design creation and evaluation through data analysis, engineering calculations, and testing.
Verify layouts and drawings for accuracy, specifications, and dimensions, conducting tolerance analysis and revisions as needed.
Identify and resolve process or equipment issues to minimize downtime and implement effective solutions.
Contribute to design concepts that enhance cost-efficiency, functionality, and customer satisfaction through Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
What You Will Bring
Education: High school diploma required; Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or Design preferred.
Experience: 5-7 years in related role with experience in structural steel detailing, MEP systems, or industrial facility layout.
Software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, Inventor, or other industry-standard CAD software.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, construction materials, mechanical systems, fabrication processes, and engineering principles. Knowledge of ISO and ANSI drafting standards.
Technical Skills: Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.

Compensation: The expected base pay range for this role is $34 - $39 an hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
