Job Description:

An Emeryville, CA based client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal/Legal Secretary. You must have strong existing relevant class action wage and hour experience to join their dynamic legal team on site only. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in managing a variety of legal tasks, as well as proficient legal research and drafting capabilities.



Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategies.


• Assist in drafting initial pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other legal documents.


• Perform docket checks to ensure compliance with filing deadlines and procedures.


• Edit and prepare Tables of Authorities (TOAs) for filings.


• File documents in state and federal courts, ensuring adherence to respective rules and regulations.


• Organize and maintain case files, including electronically and physically.


• Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals as needed.


• Assist attorneys in trial preparation and document management.


• Perform other administrative tasks as required to support legal operations.
