The production engineer will work as a leader of production floor. Production engineer's duties include but not limited to:
Responsibilities:
Production Control
Schedule production plan: Plan & Modify production to meet customer's requirement.
Control inventory: Keep track of daily inventory count to verify production results.
4M: Maintain 4M (Man, Machine, Method, Material) to prevent production interruption.
Process Control
Parameter setting: Set & Modify parameter settings to optimize production. Set & Modify parameter settings to minimize defects.
Layout Setting: Set & Modify layout settings to optimize production (Ergonomics)
Quality Control
Countermeasure: Create & Implement effective countermeasures in production.
Development
New product launch: Set up new production, process, quality control points. Prepare for mass production.
Miscellaneous
Audit Preparation: Prepare for various audits.
Cost Saving: Participate in various cost saving activities.
Training matrix document record and control
Set up Floor Supervisor and Team Leaders KPI.
Education/Background/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering field required.
1~3 years of manufacturing experience required.
Bi-lingual (Korean & English) preferred
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have excellent organizational skills.
Must have excellent math skills with an understanding of MRP.
Must have intermediate to advanced skills with all Microsoft Office Products.
Must be able to work with several people and manage multiple tasks.
Work requires ability to delegate assignments, and coach and train employees to meet deadlines.
For experienced candidates, preference will be given to those with experience in the production, development, or quality control of automotive interior parts
