Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Store Manager to lead our team at Rutland Home Center. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring that it runs smoothly, meets sales goals, and provides a top-tier shopping experience for all customers. You will lead, motivate, and develop the store team, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent service while maintaining store operations at the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead, train, and motivate a team of associates, ensuring they are aligned with company goals and values.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, high morale, and professional growth.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support career development.
Customer Experience:
Ensure exceptional customer service is provided at all times, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Create a welcoming and organized store environment that promotes a pleasant shopping experience.
Reporting & Analysis:
Analyze sales reports and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and take proactive action.
Provide regular reports to upper management on store performance, inventory, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively and professionally.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Solid understanding of Building Material Sales, metrics, inventory control, and financial management.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency with retail management software and Microsoft Office.
High school diploma required; a degree in Business or a related field is a plus.
