REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Undergraduate Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or other related field - first generation college students are encouraged to apply • Experience in providing client facing technical support configuring, installing, troubleshooting and repairing hardware/software and mobile device technologies • Passion for technology and deploying the latest tools and techniques • Ability to provide after-hours support remotely or in office, including nights and weekends
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Willingness to obtain technical certifications (CompTIA, MCP, Cisco) • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and/or Microsoft Azure/Office 365/Exchange administration • Familiarity with computer networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, ICMP, etc.) • Scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, and/or Shell Script • Familiarity with web design/website administration (Managed WordPress, PHP, CSS/HTML) • Experience supporting AV conferencing equipment and telephony equipment (Polycom, Teams Room)
JOB DESCRIPTION • Responding to requests for technical assistance in person and remotely • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners • Repairing, replacing, and upgrading IT equipment as necessary • Setting up AV equipment, workstations, and corporate issued devices • Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues • Pinpoint recurring technical issues and present solutions to address the root of the problems
