As a Carrier Sales Representative II, you are a key contributor to Uber Freight's business by generating and maintaining carrier relationships. You will be eligible to earn a monthly bonus, in addition to your base salary, in your first full calendar month and enjoy working in a fast-paced, sales environment.
What the Candidate Will Do
Establish relationships, negotiate, and develop carriers regularly via phone and email in order to develop core and dedicated carriers
Ensure customer satisfaction and high service levels where freight is picked up and delivered on time using safe, reliable carriers
Meet or exceed team financial and individual performance goals
Develop knowledge of carrier supply and demand, spot market pricing, and factors that impact freight markets
Carrier profile management- learn carrier requirements, needs, contacts and update carrier profiles regularly. Be an advocate for the carrier on all levels
Acquire knowledge of freight network/lanes- know what internal freight lanes we run and find carriers that match these lanes
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
2 years of carrier sales experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
2 years of related experience in transportation
Experience in LTL or Partial Truckload Space
Bilingual/Multilingual skills are highly sought
