Job Description:

OBJECTIVE:

Receive all store-stocked moulding products, maintain stock levels,  and maintain neatness in the warehouse. Cycle count moulding on a regular basis, cut and maintain moulding samples, aid in customer service in the warehouse and yard as needed, and pull all will call and delivery orders.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Check in and put away all stocked moulding orders and returns

  • Pull material for will call or delivery orders

  • Count and update moulding products per count schedule

  • Clean and organize moulding bins

  • Check for missing or incorrect bin labels

  • Occasional use of forklift as necessary to move material

  • Help buyer with moulding order

  • Help customers when needed in the yard

WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Ensure that all overstock is neatly organized in the correct location and labeled with SKU and description

  • Go through special/stock order tree checking for old or dead orders

  • Check and replenish moulding samples

DUTIES TO BE DONE AS NEEDED


  • Assist Buyer with price changes, other duties

  • Backup receiving and updating of special orders

  • Backup cycle counter

  • Assist in bringing in new products

  • Backup hardware puller

  • Backup warehouse employees

 SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Possess positive interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and accept direction on given assignments

  • Able to work in a cooperative manner as part of a team

  • Maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general public

  • Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health/safety and company policies and procedures

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Sit/stand for 8 hours per day

  • Use hands and fingers to manipulate keys on a keyboard

  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud

  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and vehicles

  • Must be able to lift/carry 80 lbs. occasionally; must be able to push/pull 80 lbs.

  • Horizontal reaching with arms and hands is required; occasionally must climb or balance

  • All mobility motions are required (standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing)

  • Range of motion and physical activity occurring regularly throughout work day
