Schedule: Two shifts available:
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Eastern Time)
9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Eastern Time)
Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Medical Services Support Specialist to join our clinical team. This role is responsible for managing inbound calls, faxes, and emails to process orders for various medical services and equipment for injured workers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be comfortable in a call center environment, and have a background in healthcare or medical office settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer inbound calls to process orders for medical services and equipment (e.g., home health, wheelchairs, physical medicine services)
Manage fax line and dedicated email inbox for incoming requests
Perform order triage and prioritization
Make outbound calls as necessary
Provide administrative support, including data entry and document verification
Communicate effectively with providers and clients via phone and email
Process high-volume, transaction-oriented assignments efficiently
Adhere to contractual guidelines and company policies
Qualifications
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
1- 3 years’ experience in a call center environment required
1- 3 years’ experience performing data entry and typing required
1-3 years’ experience in a medical/healthcare, worker’s compensation, or insurance field preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills and familiarity with office software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
