Kinsley Power Systems is growing and seeking a Shop Technician to add to our team!

The Shop Technician is responsible for proactively servicing on-site equipment as well as general shop repairs and maintenance. Additionally, he/she will also work closely with a more senior technician performing service on power generation equipment at customer sites.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Safely conduct shipping and receiving duties using a powered industrial truck.
• Parts delivery on an as needed basis to technicians in the field
• Conduct regular facility audits to maintain safe and healthy work environment. Rental equipment maintenance and upkeep
• Engine repairs, maintenance and electrical diagnostics/troubleshooting on in-house units
• Excellent customer service skills
• Work as internal support to Field Service Technicians including oil container swap outs
• Work as external support to Field Service Technicians with assistance on jobs when needed
• Routine facility maintenance and upkeep
• Participate as a member of the emergency response team within and outside of the company's geographical territory, as required by business needs
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Able to achieve an OSHA10 certification or OSHA30
• Currently holds a valid state driver's license with the ability to meet DOT medical certification criteria
• Must possess integrity, a strong sense of urgency and drive for success
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and on call hours as required
• Ability to work in a productive manner in all types of weather and environments (rural and urban)
• Strong customer service focus with good verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a high demand atmosphere with a focus on safety
• Computer literacy
• Demonstrated problem solving ability
• Previous engine and electrical experience a plus
• Proven team player; balances team and individual responsibilities
