Field Applications Specialist at TSI
TSI is a global leader in providing critical systems and solutions to protect people, products and the environment, providing specialized particle counters for classifying and monitoring cleanrooms. TSI also pairs its particle counters with additional environmental sensors to create complete environmental monitoring solutions.
The Field Applications Specialist installs equipment, conducts product training and supports field project start-ups/commissioning. Support will be on-site and virtual, as needed. This role also provides and documents feedback from the field on products, services and installation issues.
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with TSI, you will:
Provide on-site installation of hardware and software to support projects
Develop and conduct product training on-site and using virtual tools (Webinars)
Attend customer site project meetings
Assist in writing and executing validation protocols and commissioning systems
Assist Sales team with system proposals and quotations
Support project installations validation and commissioning on-site and remotely
Support Sales team and customers with pre- and post-sales support via phone, email and on-site visits
Provide technical support to customers, regarding products and technologies
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues with monitoring systems
Organize and conduct in-house technical workshops
Present information to an audience with a variety of backgrounds and experiences
Use CRM tools to track and document projects
Complete other assignments and special projects, as requested
What Do You Need?
Required
Associate's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field
3+ years experience providing technical and application support to customers, sales and/or channel partners in the field
Project management experience working with customers, contractors, sales and engineering
Ability to read schematics, drawings and manuals, as required
Desired
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field
Cleanroom manufacturing, instrumentation engineering or HVAC industry experience
Ethernet Network knowledge
Experience performing system commissioning and/or validation activities
Microsoft operating systems experience
SQL database experience, such as MS SQL, PostgreSQL
Knowledge of FDA and EU GMP requirements for pharmaceutical manufacturing
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues
*Travel required up to 50% to customer sites, including international

Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $90,000 - $100,000 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
