SCADA/ICS Operational Technology (OT) Specialist

Innova Solutions is seeking a SCADA/ICS Operational Technology (OT) Specialist with experience in industrial automation solutions, dedicated to enhancing operational efficiency and safety in various industries. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SCADA/ICS Operational Technology (OT) Specialist to join our team.

• The SCADA/ICS Operational Technology (OT) Specialist will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of SCADA and ICS systems, ensuring the efficient and secure operation of industrial processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OT, with expertise in SCADA, ICS, and related technologies.
• This role involves developing and implementing cybersecurity policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with industry standards like IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, and NERC-CIP, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Prior industrial automation OT experience is required

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and deploy SCADA and ICS systems to monitor and control industrial processes.
• Develop and implement OT strategies to optimize system performance and ensure operational reliability.
• Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless integration of OT systems with IT infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain SCADA/ICS systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement security measures.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on the operation and maintenance of SCADA/ICS systems.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve OT systems.

SOME of the desired qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in SCADA, ICS, or OT systems.
• Proficiency in SCADA software (e.g., Wonderware, Ignition, GE iFIX) and ICS technologies.
• Strong understanding of networking, cybersecurity, and industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, OPC).
• Experience with OT-specific security monitoring tools such as Dragos, Nozomi Networks, or Claroty to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
• Configuring and managing OT anomaly detection tools to identify unusual activity which may indicate a cybersecurity threat.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, including OT engineers, IT security staff, and operational staff, to ensure security measures are practical and support operational goals.
• Flexibility in implementing security measures that respect the constraints of OT systems and operations,
• Certification in relevant OT/ICS technologies (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security

• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443).

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
