Provides guidance and general direction for department operations, working through staff to ensure accurate and timely production.
Supervises the Quality Management staff with input into the hiring/firing, disciplining, training and development and performance reviews. Assists in the establishment of performance and productivity standards as well as with the determination of staffing needs.
Collaborates with the department director on long and short-term planning relating to the general operations of Quality Management services in accordance with identified procedures.

Qualifications
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited School of Nursing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland is required.
A minimum of five years of progressively responsible professional experience performing Quality Management, Utilization Management or the equivalent is required. A minimum of two years of lead/supervisory experience is required.
