We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist to join our healthcare team in Towson, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for administering radiation therapy treatments to cancer patients while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Deliver prescribed doses of radiation to patients using various radiation therapy equipment and techniques
Perform treatment simulations and assist in treatment planning
Position and immobilize patients accurately for treatment delivery
Monitor patients during treatment and maintain detailed treatment records
Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed at all times
Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare team members
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
Maintain and calibrate radiation therapy equipment
Document treatment sessions and patient responses in electronic health records
Participate in quality assurance programs and radiation safety committees

Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program
Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
Valid state licensure as a Radiation Therapist
Current BLS/CPR certification
Demonstrated proficiency in operating radiation therapy equipment and treatment planning systems
Strong knowledge of radiation physics, protection, and safety protocols
Experience with various radiation therapy techniques and medical imaging technologies
Expertise in patient positioning and immobilization techniques
Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR)
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Physical ability to assist in patient positioning and transfer
