Job Description:
Our client is a media company. They seek a Finance Manager to join their Jersey City, NJ office.
Responsibilities
- Ensure continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close process
- Perform flux analysis, account reconciliations, and budget to actual review
- Prepare corporate and subsidiary budgets for forecasting
- Maintain cash flows and customer and vendor relationship management
- Oversee all ERP functions including new subsidiaries and adding accounts
- Run and present financial reports and assist in internal/external audits
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
- Review and maintain the financial health of the organization
Requirements
- 6+ years of finance/accounting experience
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting
- Media industry background preferred
- International accounting experience preferred
- Revenue recognition knowledge is a plus
- CPA strongly preferred
- Skilled in Excel and NetSuite required
