Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field required
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in wire harness and LRU testing, including Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and vibration testing in Aerospace or Defense manufacturing environment highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of IPC 610/620, J-STD 001 standards, and relevant industry testing protocols.
Prior experience leading or mentoring Junior Engineers and Technicians.
Expertise in troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical systems.
Experience with production scheduling and the ability to prioritize testing activities effectively.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency with testing software and diagnostic tools.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage testing operations for wire harnesses and LRUs, ensuring compliance with aerospace and military standards.
Operate and oversee ATE and vibration testing to verify system reliability and performance.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues identified during testing.
Maintain accurate test records and implement corrective actions as needed.
Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to synchronize testing with production schedules.
Identify inefficiencies in testing processes and implement improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Supervise, mentor, and provide training to test technicians and engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Foster cross-functional collaboration to enhance overall system performance and product quality.
