This position will support applications for the Office of Health Insurance Programs and will encompass various activities involving the collecting, massaging, and disseminating of data for purposes associated with the Medicaid program. Responsibilities could involve enhancements to current systems or development of new system components.
QualificationsSoftware Developer- Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software.
Expert- 84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
84 months experience Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) and Object Oriented Systems and Design (OOSD) focusing primarily in Java.
60 months experience using the following Java frameworks: Struts, Hibernate, Spring.
60 months experience programming Java in BEA WebLogic 9.0 and up environment.
60 months experience using Java/J2EE components like Servlets, JSPs, EJBs, MDBs, JAAS Security, XML and XML schemas.
60 months demonstrated experience with Oracle 12c (or later) and understanding database objects like procedures, functions and cursors, and experience with Oracle SQL query optimization.
48 months experience with version control: GitLab/GitHub
36 months experience programming in CGI/Perl.
60 months experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a comparable field
Day-to-Day tasks Writing/updating server-side, web-based applications for centralized systems in the HCS WebLogic environment using Java Enterprise.
Writing/Updating stand-alone Java programs used for data ETL.
Leveraging DB Objects in an Oracle database.
Modifying or transitioning programs currently written in cgi/perl.
