Summary: An AI Sever-focused R&D Computer Technician managing setup, testing and maintenance of AI-focused hardware projects in our Puget Sound Area labs.

Job Description:
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory space.
• Demonstrate excellent computer and technical skills; proficiency with Microsoft applications and virtual meeting platforms is essential - CPU and GPU Performance benchmarking.
• Possess a technical background with experience in datacenter environments and networking preferred.
• Experience with control systems and/or data acquisition systems preferred.
• Exhibit motivation, critical thinking, time management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Provide on-premise assistance and support for computer equipment operations and other technical issues.
• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot systems including servers, network switches, and peripheral devices.
• Possess thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components.
• Opportunity to work with emerging technology.
• Ability to build liquid cooling systems - hydraulic connections, rack setup, etc.
• Ability to provide input and conduct functional test plans.
• Familiarity with Product Development Processes.

Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance and repairs on test equipment.
• Assist in the setup and teardown of projects.
• Setup telemetry and data acquisition systems, Collect telemetry data and test results from ongoing projects.
• Install and configure new systems and equipment.
• Attend project meetings and provide feedback as required.
• Approach tasks with a professional, courteous, and collaborative attitude.
• Set up computers with new operating systems and software configurations.
• Configure networks for new user systems.
• Perform system updates to ensure all systems are current.
• Create and assign virtual machines as needed.
• Conduct data backups regularly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system failures and bugs.
• Demonstrate the ability to adapt, multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Work with installing temperature, pressure and flow sensors. Basic knowledge on fluid handling, plumbing and leak control. Ability to read single line diagrams/ flow diagrams.
• Ability to execute test plans, collect and periodically report data.
