Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Relationship Manager - Commercial Lending to join a dynamic and growing financial institution. This role is focused on identifying lending opportunities, developing strong business relationships, and managing a portfolio of commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial lending, credit analysis, and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong, low-risk commercial relationships while ensuring exceptional client service.
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for new and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Manage and grow a commercial lending portfolio, generating new business through referrals and networking.
  • Conduct thorough credit analysis, structure loans appropriately, and provide sound financial solutions.
  • Call on existing clients to assess their financial needs, review portfolios, and offer tailored recommendations.
  • Cross-sell banking products and services to enhance client relationships.
  • Stay informed on market trends and maintain strong knowledge of local business landscapes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in commercial lending, banking, or financial services.
  • Formal credit training preferred.
  • Strong underwriting and financial analysis skills.
  • Proven ability to build and manage client relationships.
  • Consistent career tenure with a track record of success in commercial lending.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
