This position requires the set up and safe operation of tumbler machine to deburr and wash parts. The machine operator will learn to operate assigned machines and meet production schedule for clean parts to move to next operation in manufacturing process.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow all safety rules.
• Maintain clean, orderly work area.
• Operate equipment and perform basic machine set-ups as required.
• Perform hourly inspection checks to monitor the quality of parts.
• Perform the duties required to record data for SPC, ISO/QS documentation.
• Follow quality training to avoid mixing parts during the cleaning operation.
• Monitor and adjust concentration of chemicals and makes adjustments as needed to maintain correct concentration
• Move material by operating a forklift or using non-motorized devices.

• HSD/GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision and meet daily production requirements
• Basic computer skills needed to record required data for compliance.
• Provide written communication as needed.
• Ability to be Forklift Certified.
• Capable of working in manufacturing area with hot temperatures
